Join intuitive artist Alex Hamm for the “Cultivate Intuition with Creativity” workshop.  Explore how to use abstract art techniques as a way to discover and connect to your innate creativity and intuition.

Location:  NoBo Art Center - 4929 Broadway #E, Boulder CO 80304
Skill Level:  Beginners and Beyond - all skill levels welcome!
Age:  14+

Includes art supplies and instruction.  
Please wear paint-friendly clothing. Gloves will be provided.

About Your Instructor

Hi, I’m Alex!  👋 I’m an intuitive abstract painter based in Westminster, CO.  Living with disability and chronic illness have often left me feeling out of touch with myself and my own body.  In 2022, I redirected my painting practice to focus on exploring methods that allow the mind, body, and spirit to become more connected and in tune with each other.

My current works are focused on exploring wonder, connection, and healing, with special interest in how intuition shapes and is shaped by these experiences.  

Workshop held in celebration of INTUITION, my first solo exhibition, hosted by the NoBo Arts District at the NoBo Art Center in Boulder, CO from April 5-28.

Opening Reception & First Friday: Friday, April 5, 2024 • 5-9pm
Artist’s Reception: Saturday, April 20, 2024 • 6:30-8:30pm

Workshop sales are final and purchased in good faith. Refunds for unexpected emergencies may be awarded at the discretion of Alex Hamm and the NoBo Art District if you are unable to attend the workshop. April 16, 2024 is the deadline to request a refund and to drop out of the workshop.  In the event that the workshop is cancelled by the organizer, refunds will be issued and/or a rescheduled event date will be offered.

Participants attend the workshop at their own risk. Workshop supplies include acrylic paints and mediums which may contain potential allergens or irritants.  Injury is possible, but unlikely.  Should a participant experience injury resulting from participation in the Cultivating Intuition with Creativity workshop, neither Alex Hamm Art nor NoBo Art District will be held responsible or legally liable.
